-From the White House-
-For Immediate Release-
President Macmillan has withdrawn the United States from the Trans-Pacific Partnership at the present time to protect the livelihoods of the 448,000 workers that would lose their jobs if we remained a part of it when it came into force. President Macmillan was elected on a policy of free AND fair trade with any nations that want to work with us in good faith but this trade deal does not fulfil those criteria. President Macmillan is open to renegotiating the TPP with the relevant nations involved but he will not sign up to an organisation that threatens the jobs of nearly half a million US workers and threatens to depress wages by nearly $2000 for the entire working class.
