FBI Press Conference on Macmillan Assassination

Recommended Posts

The FBI Director approaches the podium:

Quote

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. After extensive investigation please allow me to share with you the long-awaited details on the assassination of President Dylan Macmillan.

October 9, 2018 the President's motorcade was traveling in Houston, Texas. As supporters were gathered on the sidewalk, the President rolled down his window to wave at the crowd. The motorcade slowly winded through the city streets and turned down Emancipation Avenue in East Downtown. Near the stadium of the Houston Dynamo, Karam Zaahir Amjad rushed at the motorcade and detonated a suicide vest, killing the President and 4 others.

The suicide bomber was an EU citizen attending the University of Houston with a student visa. He is thought to be a part of a very small pro-Palestinian group in Germany. The group has not claimed responsibility and was not previously seen as dangerous by the authorities, so it is possible that the bomber was acting on his own accord.

Thank you, I'll now take questions from the media.

Hello, Michael Moonwilkins, APR.

Is there any evidence that the attack was politically motivated other than his membership of the pro-Palestinian group?

His political motivation appears to be limited to the Israel/Palestine issue.

Many Palestinians are Christian or nonreligious, and many members of Pro-Palestinian groups are not Palestinian by heritage.

Can you confirm whether the attacker was Palestinian by heritage and whether he was Muslim, Christian, or nonreligious?
