Michael Madison was born on September 21, 1969, to a middle class family in Ohio. When he was 5, they moved to Indiana, where he has lived ever since. Michael joined the army in 1988 and served as an infantryman during the First Gulf War. In 1993, he used his GI bill funds to attend university and eventually graduated law school in 2000 magna cum laude. He went on to clerk for Justice Antonin Scalia and a couple other federal judges. From 2003-2017, he worked at a constitutional law firm in Indiana. In this capacity, he helped advise several government officials, including many senators and representatives. He even advised Mike Pence during his tenure as governor of Indiana. In 2018, he ran for the class 3 Senate seat in Indiana and won. He considers constitutional fidelity, religious liberty, limited government, and pro-life legislation to be his biggest priorities while in office.
