    John Hart III

John Hart III grew up in the greater Cleveland area. With a long family history of public service, politics and policy were always front of mind at the Hart dinner table when John was a kid. Graduating from Dartmouth with a degree in Political Science, John started interning on the Hill fresh out of college. However, he quickly became disenchanted with the establishment he had known for so long and felt disconnected from the people whose lives he was helping to shape. John returned to his rust belt hometown and dove into grass roots activism, working for nonprofits and labor groups. He soon became an effective community organizer and a prominent voice for city and local issues. When a winnable House seat opened up, John was encouraged to run. His campaign stuck to his new-found passions and focused on holding town halls and community events where he engaged as many locals as possible, thereby refining his message and accumulating small-dollar donations.
